Biotilis contains endospores of Bacillus subtilis. The composition is customised to comply with regulatory guidelines of respective countries. Bacillus subtilis is a proprietary strain and compliant with National Biodiversity Authority guidelines and has Access Benefit Sharing (ABS) agreement with the State Biodiversity Board for payment of royalty to the habitat from where the microbes have been isolated. The strain is under Patent deposit certificate with Budapest Treaty recognized depository.
Substrate Competition for space and Nutrients:Biotiliscolonizes maximum space and absorbs maximum nutrients available at the target site and thereby controls the pathogens by starving them for food and competing for space- Domino effect.
Mycoparasitism:Biotilisis a biological fungicide that attacks disease causing pathogens before they reach the plant system. It derives nutrition from the target pathogen and Biotilisspores multiply inside it and eventually kill the pathogen.
Enzyme production:Biotilissecretes certain antagonistic secondary metabolites which have an anti-fungal effect that pathogenise and kill the disease-causing organism. The metabolites released also have a Plant growth promoting effect which stimulates the rhizosphere for better root establishment and root health.
Biotiliseffectively controls soil borne fungal diseases and fungal diseases on fruits and leaves.
Pathogenic load reduction leads to improved plant health and thereby increased crop productivity.
