Annonin 1% EC (Anosom)

Product Description

Annonaceous acetogenins present in Anosom EC impart Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) / Antifeedant properties.

Anosom EC contains Annonin (Squamocin) as the active ingredient, formulated as a 1% Emulsifiable Concentrate (10,000 ppm). Annonin (Squamocin) is the marker active compound and all other components of annona seed kernel have remained intact in the extract. Annona extract, Annona oil, solvent and emulsifiers constitute the formulation composition.

Actives present in Anosom EC are surmised to work as an Insect Growth Regulator / anti-feedant on caterpillars Lepidoptera (Fall Army Worm, Helicoverpa spp, Spodoptera spp) and other caterpillar pests.

Squamocin(Annonin) present in Anosom EC is surmised to have an inhibitory effect on the NADH-cytochrome c-reductase and complex I of insect mitochondria. Annonaceous acetogenins present in Anosom EC have pesticidal and/or insect antifeedant properties.
